WNYC's Greene Performance Space

One of my pieces was selected as one of the 8 winners of The Greene Space's Call For Art, which received almost 3000 submissions. The piece, "Los No. 1 Meats", is on exhibit there April 2009 through August 2010. The Jerome L. Greene Performance Space is WNYC's state-of-the-art, multimedia performance space and broadcast studio on the ground floor of their new home, 44 Charlton Street (at Varick Street) in Manhattan.

Target Billboards in Times Square

I designed three billboards for Target in Times Square, which were up September 4 - October 31, 2009. They were located on the south side of 42nd Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue. There were three other artists for a total of nine billboards, arranged through the advertising agency Mother Industries. My three billboards alone totaled 100 feet long and 75 feet tall— that's six times the size of my apartment! The vinyl from the billboard was then converted into one-of-a-kind limited edition handbags by Anna Sui.

The Target project was by way of advertising agency Mother Industries, who went on to win Creative Agency of the Year.

This was a fundraiser that benefited PS 261 in Downtown Brooklyn. There was a silent auction and sale of artwork from the Brooklyn Artsmith Collective artists and work by the students at PS 261.
